Another one hooked

Yes I got another victim hooked on cruising. I know my sister of the seas is not very happy that his first experience on cruising was on Carnival but oh well…..I am Yes I am thrilled and what he wrote to me yesterday when he got out of the Carnival Victory was exactly what I wanted to hear:

“HI ! I suppose you already know…..I don’t even know what to say….not were to begin….but the most important thing that I have to tell you is….that I have never laugh so much in a week…..HA HA..You hit it right on the nail…I’m already planning one in May….If I have the money by then,.. because…. it is addictive!! …like you told me..I don’t think there is any other vacation like this anywhere else..WOW!! and what I didn’t do because I didn’t have enough money… that’s why I want to go again…before the hurricane season starts (He is a metereologist) and I screw without vacations.. and I think I would go on the Carnival Victory again. Do you think I could take the Carnival Victory again?”

recomending ships to people. You know my favorite cruise line is Carnival but having been on cruises in Princess, Costa, Norwegian, Royal Caribbean and Cunard gives me an idea depending on what you are looking for and what you like, what to recommend and I love to do it. My cousin being single in his early 30’s shy and going solo on his first cruise. What best ?
Anyway going on with my life on Friday I went to the convention and for my surprise it was pretty good. Out of 3 conferences that I took 2 were very good. The food was good too. The only thing was the facilities. I don’t understand why having an excellent convention center and hotels with Convention facilities we have to have one in a coliseum for sporting events and not at all ready for this. Those fake walls, the noise! agh! This weekend also my family came to visit. My sister with her kids and my parents. My niece is her senior year and came to go with us to shop for dresses for all the activities. While she was here my mother called to tell her that she got in the College she wanted; Manhattanville. WOO HOOO!! Now she has to get the money to go. ummmmmm
My parents and my grandma came on Sunday to spend the day with us and i got to show them the Skype thingy. We call my sister in Texas and she went to my brother’s and we got to see the kids and almost the whole house. That’s wonderful.

Old videos and a very good pill

I’m doing very good thanks to some pills that the doctor gave me the last time saw him. My happy pills and the fact that I have been able to lose some weight are making me very happy lately. The way that I react now to some things that had me over the top before continues to surprise me. The other day we had a meeting at school were they told us many things that are changing or that we have to do. This is because we have a superior visiting. Things like: that we have to go back to the university or the fact that he was going to be around the classrooms didn’t get the same reaction from me. Before, I would have been furious and I was surprise to find me… chilling actually thinking it was good that he was coming. He is coming oh good… WHAT?? He did come to my classroom today. He is a genius, a brother of the order and a 6 foot something man. Above all he is a superior. I thought I would go ga ga . NO I didn’t, I actually shut him off and I continued with my class like never before. WHOO UHH I like my pills I have changed even the way I’m dressed. I f only I could go back to cruising All is perfect even though everything remains the same. Today I stayed at school until 5 and I was relax. I did enjoy it. Strange ah?
This week I also have enjoyed talking to my friends through Skype. Continues to amaze me. Tomorrow we are going to a convention. Same as last year . Not very good . Let’s see how it goes. I’m also seeing old videos. Videos of my kids first cruise and of our Ecstasy cruise 16 years ago. I wish you could it there is some very good video of John 16 years ago. How time flies but we got to live that and that can’t be taken away from us.

This week in pictures

I have been lazy and busy this week to write much.So I’m going to post some pictures of my week instead. The bloggers cruise is over my friends are back and my inbox is full again.It was a great cruise and I had fun even in the distance becuase they didn’t forget me and call me on the phone and wrote emails. Thanks for everything. You already know how much I appreciate everything you did. The week started with the bloggers cruise and my friends party on Saturday. The party was incredibly fun as always. This week was very busy at school with superiors visiting and a few problems but everything under control. Yesterday was Valentine’s day at school and the kids had fun but I was glad it was only half day because they were wild!! Happy Valentine’s day!!

Emotional cruise

I know from what I have read that yesterday was an emotional cruise for John and Big Ed’s Krewe who in am a very proud member. The krewe had many surprises for John, a quilt with all of our picture, gift for the baby and some money. Boblee heads, a plaque, a custom made music CD and a towel animal short made specially for John. that there were many tears. A huge sucess.This krewe really loves John and his family and cares deeply about his well being and each other. Sometimes we just resemble a prayer group. Kevin also wrote that today day in Progresso was beautiful and to tell us that he is going to participate on tonight’s male nightgown competition. I wish I was there. I would have cry with all when Heidi’s video was shown and at the tea party. Love you all and miss you. I need a huggo from all

Today is the day of the Krewe private party with John when they are going to give him all the gifts. I hope they film it like the last time so I can see it later. You can see on Zydeco’s page the first of John’s gifts to the bloggers. niceeeeeeeeee

Saturday update from the Blogger’s cruise

 

Carolyn just called me and I talked to her , Sue, Elaine, Laura, Sallie, Princess Su, Lance, Adam, Kevin. Everybody is having a great time and having a drink for me or using me as an excuse for a drink. They all told me that they wish I was here and that the ship is beautiful. Everything is going perfect. I’m very happy. Tonight I’m going for a party it’s not the same as being on the ship with them but I’m going to have fun.

 The phone just rang but I didn’t get it because I was in the bathroom. The ID says it was Sally the thong princess. Left a message and it was Big Ed telling me to get my butt down there  that they were holding the ship for me and at the end a message this is Big Ed saying Sorry!! LOL Tried to call back but go the inbox and left a message. Them Mike called me and I got to talked with Sue Muller and Lynn. We are a big family now. I’m having a great time even from here.

Another update

Hey I just talked to John!!! Elaine called me and she put John.He was at the bloggers hotel and he made everyone scream to say Hi to me!! He made me promise that I’m going to be on the Dream in December. Viviana wanted to talk with him. She started the conversation In French. LOL He told her that he is coming to visit in one the ships in the summer. The only thing was that I couldn’t hear him well. Everyone is having a great time!
We will be there in December John it is a deal!!

And me? I’m here…..

For the second time I am at home while my family of bloggers is on a cruise. sigh….
Oh well I can’t complain even if I’m not there they always remember me. I have already received a little note from Judy keeping me up to date with what is happening in NOLA. I know they are going to call me and send me text messages. I will be reading all that I can about the cruise. Judy told me that they are all having a great time together. I already miss them. My inbox is empty and boring.

Extra Extra Last minute!!

I just talked with a bunch of  my friends back in the hotel in New Orleans!!! UHU!!! Elaine called me and the phone was passed around , Ed, , Lance,  Barb  a bunch of them!!! I was very happy to be able to talk to all of them, WHOOOOO HOOOOOOO! They are having a great time and they miss me. They sure know how to make me feel good even if I’m so far… sigh. Ed keep telling me why I wasn’t there, If I had miss the plane. I wish It was that I still have one day to get there oh well. Thank You!!!!!!!!
