So far so good

Free!!!! I’m free and so far it has been great. I’m glad it’s over for now because it was becoming almost impossible to teach with the way those kids were behaving. Well on Friday after the kids went home we had our Easter reflection with a film about a mexican architect that was kidnaped for 9 months and how he dealt with the situation a talk with a priest and mass. The priest was excellent and we learned a lot of him. It made me happy to understand that I’m doing what I’m supposed to do with my home and kids in the current situation. After that we had mass until 5:00 in the afternoon. The very good part started after that when I went  to my friend from Guatemala home. It was just us 3 with her husband (the school psychologist) and later our friend the Brother arrive with another one that was visiting from Guatemala. I couldn’t find a way to leave until 10:00 when I decided that I should be going home to take care of  my family. It was a reunion with real friends that really appreciate each other and take care of each other, talking about meaningful things.  No crap, No masks. This friends don’t mind is your house is not in a very good condition, messy or clean. No.. we are together and we are having a good time with what we have . No stress. They can come to my house at anytime. Each of my friends have a little girl of the same age. So we have one of them with us. The other was with her father ( my friend is getting a divorce) We all had a little time  with the girl. We all played with her. She was the center of attention and she was happy. It was really special night and I can’t believe what we have build in a short time. We are going to get together sometime the second week here at my home. We are going to take the girls to the park and doing Melting cake. The only thing is that I don’t know if the brother can come because he is going to be at the university . Let’s see…..Our other friends from school were at another house getting drunk and talking )(*& %^& . Not my idea of a good time although I can deal with it for a short time or a night but not always.  Don’t get me wrong i love my friends and I’m blessed to have such co-workers but real friends are only a few. Last night it was Ana’s 45 birthday . We couldn’t let her  be alone on this ocasion and when her husband is already in the USA waiting to go to Africa for 10 months. We all showed up. That is one sign of how much we care. She was surrounded with a lot of friends and we didn’t let her get sad. The pics are from her party. We took 2 pictures on Friday but they are on my friend camera so as soon as I have it i’ll post it so you can see the 4 friend together. Tomorrow is Monday and I got nothing to do…..Thank you God! LOL
